Home Watch is defined as a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues. Whether you’re away on vacation, managing a second property, or just need peace of mind, our Home Watch services monitor your property, helping it stay safe and sound. From checking for leaks to securing doors and windows, we’re your eyes and ears when you can’t be there.

Weekly

When you're out of town or busy at work, we’ll check for issues and provide regular updates so you can relax.

Our Home Watch Checklist

Exterior Checkpoints

  • Visual check of property perimeter.

  • Check for signs of trespassing or vandalism.

  • Verify all exterior doors and windows are closed and locked.

  • Inspect for broken glass, tears, or damage to screens.

  • Look for visible roof damage (missing shingles, debris).

  • Check gutters and downspouts from the ground level for leaves and debris.

  • Confirm lawn and landscaping maintenance is up-to-date.

  • Inspect for fallen branches, standing water, or signs of pest activity.

  • Check for cracks, damage, or debris on hardscapes.

  • Confirm outdoor furniture is in place and undamaged.

  • Check exterior lighting and motion sensors.

  • Confirm cameras and alarm systems are functional.

  • Inspect water level, clarity, and cover integrity of pool or hot tub.

  • Visual check of pool or hot tub equipment. 

Interior Checkpoints

  • Check door locks.

  • Confirm HVAC system is operational and set to appropriate levels.

  • Check for leaks under sinks, around toilets, and near appliances.

  • Test water flow and drainage.

  • Flush toilets, run faucets, and run sink disposal. 

  • Test light switches and outlets.

  • Verify no breakers are tripped in the electric panel box.

  • Check refrigerators, freezers, and other essential appliances.

  • Confirm no expired items in refrigerators.

  • Test functionality of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors.

  • Verify security system is armed (if applicable).

  • Check for signs of pests (droppings, nests, entry points).

  • Collect mail, packages, or flyers left at the property.
